Bobby Lee feels that the audition process for Asian actors in the past was restrictive and often forced them into limited roles.

“I feel like I have my own lane because before they they gave us one lane yeah and they put all of us in one street or whatever is that why don't you know how that analogy Works what does Lane mean no no you had we had guard rails we could always do certain things right right and we were told to do t”

Actors are better served by giving a loose, natural performance in auditions rather than striving for perfection.

“When you want to give the appearance that you're a performer and this is a loose sketch of how good it can be and man, wait till you have some time with it. Wait till you have a costume on. Wait till you have a prop in your belt. Wait till you're on set. Then it's going to really come alive.”

Daniel Dae Kim views historical industry challenges as fuel for success rather than mere obstacles for failure.

“the point is these are the challenges that made me appreciate where I am today yeah I had a [ __ ] audition for a ninja recently it was a for a commercial no line and I remember Lawrence horror who was a Korean agent that I had Laura yeah I love Lawrence hey you got to go get a ninja outfit you gott”

Dumbfoundead acknowledges that seeing similar-looking competitors at an audition can be intimidating and creates a sense that he might not be the one to get the role.

“I definitely feel that with my type like if I ran into like that Joseph Lee guy right I'll feel like I'm not getting this [ __ ] right like he's like my York item or my your type or no no I don't think so Oh what that really hurts what you just [ __ ] say right my type handsome”

The experience of testing for a role is the worst human experience a person can go through.

“and once I was done singing and I went into the acting part I was like oh I could do this oh yeah yeah cuz once you got to sing and do that thing it's really that's the worst Human Experience a human being can go through is testing”

Jared believes an actor would need to be paid a significant amount of money to show their actual genitals on camera.

“it would have to be enough to like deal with the ridicule of it you know”
