She believes the Supreme Court effectively destroyed the Voting Rights Act through its recent ruling in Louisiana v. Gallaway.

The Supreme Court's ruling in the Alabama case essentially gutted the Voting Rights Act by making it impossible to prove intentional racial discrimination in redistricting.
