The refusal to extend premium tax credits for Affordable Care Act insurance is harmful and will lead to millions of people losing their coverage.

“Not only are you going to have four million people drop off of health insurance, but everybody else's health care premiums are going through the roof. This is not okay.”

Congress must urgently pass an extension of ACA tax credits to prevent massive healthcare premium increases that will leave many Americans without coverage.

“What they should do is join us this week in voting to extend these tax credits. And and this is about life or death for many of my constituents and people across the country.”

The ACA provides essential protections and should be maintained through continued subsidies to prevent a collapse in coverage.

“But for right now, like again, the people who are on the ACA, the people who have Obamacare, but for all of us, they need a lifeline. these these these credits need to be extended for a year, two years, then you can all get together and try to come up with a real plan”

The Democratic party believes extending Affordable Care Act tax credits is essential to preventing significant increases in healthcare costs for millions of Americans.

“This is not an extraneous issue. This is central to the well-being of the American people and their quality of life. and premiums, co-pays, and deductibles are about to skyrocket.”

ACA subsidies are necessary to prevent insurance premiums from becoming unaffordable for citizens, especially in states like Texas.

“And so these subsidies, and there are 4 million Texans who are on the Affordable Care Act exchange. This is just to keep their health insurance premiums from being so high that they don't even have insurance, right?”

The Affordable Care Act was a dishonest policy designed as a Trojan horse to eventually force Americans toward socialized healthcare.

“But here's the thing. Obamacare was BS from the start. It was a Trojan horse.”

Obamacare is a failed policy that has caused catastrophic harm to the American healthcare system.

“The system that replaced this arrangement was a disastrous deal for most Americans and it became a completely unworkable, catastrophic deal when Americans were forced to subsidize the health care plans of millions of foreign nationals on top of their fellow citizens.”

The Obamacare system creates a false marketplace that relies on inefficient and predatory practices rather than delivering real insurance coverage.

“In in neoliberalism, we always have to, um, create the illusion of markets, even where nothing resembling a market really exists. And so, they created this pseudo marketplace.”
