Decisions about childbearing should be made collaboratively between partners rather than through manipulation.

“if you're together for nine years and engaged after nine years you'd think so but I think in his mind he wants a baby now and he's gonna be a selfish [ __ ] to get whatever to he's going to do whatever it takes to get what he wants but it's like all of a sudden”

A couple should ideally be on the same page regarding if and when they want to have children.

“there's so many people out there that do want children and it's just like find someone that's on the same page as you”

She desires to have children and believes they are a priority for the couple.

“Honestly, even more importantly, we're really excited to hopefully be able to get to start our family here soon.”

He intends to have children within the next couple of years.

“Lord willing, [laughter] I would love to be able [snorts] to have a few kids in the next couple of years.”

“One is that it's tough. It's it's tiring. It's exhausting. You get up and all your energy goes into it, right? And at the other side of that is it is the most fulfilling thing you'll ever do and you know that when your kids grow up they will have people that can stand beside them forever.”
