Peter Attia views the current rapid rate of change in AI development as highly significant for the future of medicine.

“What's impressed me the most is the rate of change of AI. And when I look at how quickly it got there, I'm sort of thinking to myself, where is it going to be in 2 years? Where is it going to be in 4 years?”

She believes the most promising application of AI in medicine so far is streamlining the clinical trial process.

“do you think this is the most important thing that from a promise perspective that AI is has brought to medicine since so far yeah I do so far”

Medicine can be significantly improved by integrating current AI models into the workflow, independent of future technological advancements.

“but there's so much if everything stopped now we could already transform medicine it's just a matter of The Sweat Equity to create the models figure out how to include them in the workflow how to pay for them um how to create a reimbursement system that uh and a business model that uh works for our ”
