He considers the act of the band committing to new characters every episode as one of his favorite aspects of comedy.

“they commit to being different characters I never know what they're gonna be they have a separate green room in the back maybe it's a return of some of their famous characters maybe it is a brand new character that we've never seen before it's one of my favorite things in all a comedy”

“you accept an idea you support the idea and then you add to it and so i think it was just rooted in the way that we all we we played together”

“So, I titled my book Unscripted because Curb Your Enthusiasm was unscripted. It was all improvised and it it it is a very helpful tool, especially when you're being interviewed, when you're talking to people, because you have to listen because there's no script.”

“Really, there's never been anything done like it in the history of show business where a crazy person in a parking lot can sign up and be on one of the biggest shows in the world.”

Adam Devine claims that finding one's authentic voice and personality is the most important part of improv and stand-up.

“I feel like uh with improv and with standup, it's about finding your voice and finding what makes you uh the funniest. And uh I'm still l looking for it. I'm still searching. Um but yeah, it's about just being as as authentic as you can as yourself, I feel.”

Wade believes that the audience can actively participate in policing the podcast rules by catching when the hosts fail to follow them.

“I think the audience can participate. If they catch us not saying it, they can remind us and then we have to doubly unfair it later.”

“I would say like every third actor that you love maybe every fifth actor that you love in a comedy on TV came from UCB it's just it was like this amazing wealth of talent”
