It is unjust that a convicted murderer can retain their victim's estate through a will, and current laws should be changed to prevent this.

“but just because it's not against the law doesn't make it fair this is not fair in the slightest and obviously carol's family are working tirelessly to try to get this decision re-looked at and they actually have a petition for this”

“I think it's really helpful to know that you shouldn't ever harbor the guilt of someone else's actions and at the end of the day, even though you standing up for your mom, you know, didn't have the result that you expected, that like I said, I can't stress enough, that takes a really strong person”

Stabbing a parent is an act of self-defense when the child perceives their life is in danger during a physical altercation.

“I grabbed a knife to defend myself and she tackled me to the ground. She grabbed me by my throat and pinned me to the wall and my first instinct was to stab her. I stabbed her and her left lung.”

He believes the case involving Susan Hernandez is a clear example of a fatal family betrayal.

“They would uncover a deadly plan that would rip a loving family apart.”

A wrongful death lawsuit against the estate is a natural reaction when there is no living perpetrator to hold accountable.

“I think that's a perfectly natural response to them cuz again, it's really difficult to have anger towards somebody that's dead. It's really difficult to have accountability to somebody who is unaccountable.”

The public targets the family of a perpetrator with anger because they need someone living to blame for the crimes.

“I think it's a really natural thing for the public in general to need somebody to blame that's still here. So, they get all of the anger and frustration that should have been directed towards Paul and instead his kids and wife have to take the brunt of all that.”
