Overturning the Chevron doctrine is a positive development that will limit bureaucratic bloat and force Congress to write clearer laws rather than delegating authority to unelected agency experts.

“I'm optimistic that this ruling will limit the agency's authorities and limit their ability to create more bureaucratic overhead more headcount more individuals that need to now go and administer the rules and regulations that they themselves create”

Abolishing judicial review would create a dangerous vacuum in the American system that would likely be filled by something worse.

“As much as that pains me, I think the notion of doing away with judicial review alto together would leave a real vacuum in American politics and the architecture of our system and I fear what it would be filled by.”

She believes the Supreme Court's decision on asylum claims created an unnecessary and harmful loophole by ruling that individuals stopped outside of U.S. borders cannot claim asylum.

“As Justice Sotomayor pointed out in her dissent, this creates a giant loophole. It tells the executive branch so long as you physically block people from entering the United States, you do not have to consider their asylum applications. You can just turn them away wholesale.”

Federal judges are being weaponized to undermine the executive branch and should not be treated as an infallible elite.
