The state's original exam retained Nolan's throat, trachea, hyoid bone, and laryngeal cartilage, the exact structures a pathologist checks when compression is on the table. What they found in that tissue has never been shared with anyone outside the state, and no one has offered a timeline for when, or if, that changes.
